  • Seem to recall that this is a catchphrase. If 'tis true then whose?

    February 26, 2008

  • That would be Yogi Bear, tooting his own horn.

    February 26, 2008

  • Heyyy, Boo Boo!

    February 26, 2008

  • reesetee! This is the perfect starting point for a "What is a chained_bear?" list! Oh, the reprisals!!!

    February 28, 2008

  • I am definitely smarter than the average bear. Also, by all accounts, I smell much less.

    February 28, 2008

  • Are you sure, cb? Bears are extremely intelligent. For example, I'd like to see you swinging casually from my in-laws' cast-iron bird feeder as it slowly buckles under your weight.

    February 28, 2008

  • No, yarb. You really wouldn't.

Jennarenn, have no fear. I'm working on it. *smirks, twirls non-existent moustache*

    February 28, 2008

  • I take umbrage at that, reesetee. I swing on cast-iron just as well as any other bear. And as for it buckling under my weight--let's keep in mind that *chains* weigh something too. I can buckle it faster. And smell less while doing so.

    Nyah!

    February 28, 2008

  • Yes, but you'd have to get yourself to yarb's in-laws' house then, wouldn't you? And wouldn't that be kind of...er...you know...intrusive?

    Just sayin'.

    February 28, 2008

  • I don't think they would mind, they're very welcoming. They probably wouldn't notice if you came round in the middle of the night, as long as the chains didn't clank too much.

    February 28, 2008

  • Oh no, of course not, yarb. Usually I use the chains to my advantage--swing them over something, grab it with my other paw, and cascade down a mooring rope a la Errol Flynn or Jack Sparrow--that sort of thing. I daresay they'd be a help rather than a hindrance in buckling your in-laws' bird feeder.

    February 28, 2008

  • Welll, okay. I stand corrected, then. Enjoy. But leave some seeds for the birdies, wouldja?

    February 28, 2008

  • What? No way! F&$% That!!

    February 28, 2008

  • Now that's just mean, chained or no.

    Signed, Hungry Birds

    February 28, 2008

  • Hey, I'm bigger than them! You don't see salmon just jumping into my mouth, do you?

    Well... I guess maybe sometimes...

    February 29, 2008

  • February 29, 2008

  • That isn't me, though. That bear's nekkid. Also, he smells.

    February 29, 2008

  • How do you know he smells? That isn't a scratch-and-sniff image. Besides, maybe he/she is chained by the hind feet.

    I'm just sayin'.

    February 29, 2008

  • Listen, this is the Internet: I didn't want to get more specific. But I know that guy. He smells.

    February 29, 2008

  • Am I right in thinking that the pic is of a bear vorant?

    February 29, 2008

  • I think it would be, yarb, except it isn't actually in its mouth yet.

The fish still has some work to do to catch the bear in its mouth, I mean.

    February 29, 2008

  • Ha ha ha!
